SHOE RESTORATION

We replace the worn part and bring the shoe’s shape back.

We restore heels, soles, stitching, linings and torn leather. If you need shoe repair in Baku, contact us to discuss restoring your pair.

The work we do.

  • We check the damage and the shoe’s construction.
  • We replace the worn part.
  • We repair stitching and linings.
  • We reshape on a last and check the result.

We accept these items.

  • Classic shoes with worn-down heels
  • Sneakers with a separated or unglued sole
  • Boots with split stitching
  • Shoes with a torn lining
  • Tall boots whose shafts have softened and lost shape
  • Pairs with torn or punctured leather

We check the item.

Our courier collects your item. We check the material, stains and damage at our workshop. We choose a suitable method and explain the chances of stain removal and any risks. We confirm the final price after inspection.

We quote separately for restoration.

  • Restoration and dyeing are different jobs: restoration brings back the shape and parts, dyeing the colour.
  • If a colour difference shows after the repair, see the Shoe dyeing page — we combine both jobs in one order.
  • We apply a protective sole covering to help reduce wear.
  • We repair torn leather, aiming to make the mark less visible.
  • We clean and polish buckles, chains and other metal parts.
  • We reshape boot shafts and hold the shape on a form.
  • We assess insole and lining replacement separately.

How we do it.

  1. We check the construction and explain the plan.

We check whether the sole is glued or stitched and assess the heel, lining and upper leather. We decide which part can be replaced and show you the expected result beforehand.

  2. We replace the worn part.

We replace the heel tip, heel block or the damaged section of the sole; a separated sole is cleaned, re-glued and held under press. We repair split stitching to secure the joined parts.

  3. We reshape and check.

We repair the lining, insert a last and reshape the shaft and toe area. We smooth the edges and carry out a final check; if a colour difference remains, we suggest dyeing.

We answer your questions.

Do you replace heels and soles?

Yes. We replace heel tips, heel blocks and the damaged section of a sole. Which part can be replaced depends on the shoe’s construction — we tell you after inspection.

Is re-gluing enough for a sneaker’s separated sole?

Usually yes: we clean off the old adhesive, re-glue and hold it under press. If the midsole has crumbled or the sole has cracked, gluing alone will not last — then we look at replacement options.

Will a leather tear still show after repair?

We repair the tear, but the mark cannot always be removed completely — the result depends on where the tear is and how large it is. If a mark remains, colour work can reduce it; we tell you beforehand.

What do you do with boots that have lost their shape?

We clean and condition the shaft, shape it on a form and leave it until fully dry. If the lining is damaged we repair that first — without a sound lining the shape soon goes again.

How long does it take?

Small jobs such as a heel tip are quick; sole replacement, stitching and lining repairs take longer because adhesive and shaping need time. We give you a ready date at intake and let you know when the pair is done.

What is the difference between restoration and dyeing?

Restoration deals with the shoe’s structure: a part is replaced, stitching and shape are brought back. Dyeing works with colour. They are separate services but can be combined in one order — for colour work see the Shoe dyeing page.
