SUIT DRY CLEANING

We clean every part of the set in the same cycle.

We clean in the closed-loop Realstar SYSTEMK4 and shape the jacket and trousers separately.

The work we do.

  • We check the fabric, lining and label.
  • We treat the collar, cuffs and underarm area separately.
  • We clean the pieces of the set in one cycle.
  • We reshape the garment and restore the pressed creases.

We accept these items.

  • Two-piece and three-piece suits
  • A jacket or trousers brought in on their own
  • Wool, cashmere and blended fabrics
  • Jackets with a puckered lining and lost shape
  • Sweat marks on the collar, cuffs and underarms

We check the item.

Our courier collects your item. We check the material, stains and damage at our workshop. We choose a suitable method and explain the chances of stain removal and any risks. We confirm the final price after inspection.

We quote separately for restoration.

  • Always bring the set in together. Every clean shifts the fabric’s tone slightly; if you clean one piece and keep the other, the difference adds up and the jacket eventually looks unlike the trousers.
  • A jacket’s lining behaves differently from the outer cloth — we ease out a puckered lining separately during finishing.
  • Sweat and deodorant leave no visible mark but stay in the fabric and yellow over time. Do not store a suit for the season without cleaning it first.
  • We restore the trouser crease on a Trevil Pantastar. If the old crease has left a shine in the cloth, we tell you at intake.
  • We check buttons, hooks and shoulder pads at intake; a loose button is removed before cleaning and sewn back afterwards.
  • Cleaning after every wear wears the cloth out quickly. For a suit worn daily, once or twice a season is enough; in between, spot-treating a stain is safer.
  • A jacket with a torn lining, an open seam or one that needs resizing is taken in together with the tailoring work — one order covers both cleaning and sewing.
  • General rules for delicate, lined garments are on the Dry cleaning page.

How we do it.

  1. We inspect the set and identify the stains.

We lay out the jacket, trousers and waistcoat separately and check the cloth, lining, shoulder construction and label, testing the colour on a hidden seam. We distinguish sweat, deodorant, oil, drink and pigment stains and spot-treat the collar, cuffs, underarms and trouser seat with SEITZ and BÜFA products.

  2. We clean the pieces together in Realstar SYSTEMK4.

Every piece of the set goes into the same cycle — with identical programme, temperature and time, no tonal difference appears between them. We work in a closed loop with halogen-free Kreussler SOLVONK4 solvent; no water is used, so wool and cashmere cannot shrink. After each cycle we filter and distil the solvent to recover it.

  3. We shape the suit and restore the creases.

The jacket is finished with steam and air on a PONY form finisher: shoulder, lapel, collar and lining settle back into place. We set the trouser crease on a Trevil Pantastar and finish details with a Ghidini Benvenuto iron. Finally we lay the pieces side by side, check that tone and shape match, and pack them.

We answer your questions.

Can I bring the jacket and trousers separately?

You can — we accept a single piece too. Still, bringing the set together is better: every clean shifts the tone slightly, and if only one piece is cleaned, that difference becomes visible over time. Trousers soil faster than the jacket, so the gap usually opens up on their side.

Do sweat and deodorant marks under the arms come out?

A fresh mark usually comes out: we spot-treat the area first and then run the cycle. An old mark oxidises in the fabric and yellows, in which case the colour may not even out completely. At intake we look at the area and tell you in advance what is achievable.

How often should a suit be cleaned?

For a suit worn daily, once or twice a season is enough, plus once more before it goes into the wardrobe. Cleaning after every wear wears out the cloth and lining quickly. In between, airing the suit on a hanger and having a stain spot-treated is safer.

Will the trouser crease be restored?

Yes, we set the crease again on a Trevil Pantastar, choosing the steam and press settings to suit the cloth. If the old crease has sat in the same place for a long time, it leaves a faint shiny line; that can be softened, though not every fabric lets it disappear entirely. If you want the crease moved, tell us at intake.

Do you take a jacket with a torn lining?

Yes. We have tailoring in house: the lining can be sewn, an open seam repaired, the fit taken in or a sleeve shortened. We do it in the same order as the cleaning — we decide the sequence ourselves, since some work belongs before cleaning and some after.

Is there a risk the suit will shrink?

Dry cleaning uses no water, and the solvent does not swell wool or cashmere fibres, so the risk of shrinkage is far lower than with washing. Even so, we check the label, lining and fused interlining beforehand: on older jackets the interlining can lift away from the cloth, and we flag that at intake.

Which branch should I bring the suit to?

All four branches accept suits: 28 May (Kövkəb Səfərəliyeva 19A), Nərimanov (Əlicabbar Orucəliyev 126), Ağ Şəhər (Süleyman Vəzirov 28c/1) and Elmlər (Fətəli Xan Xoyski 14). 28 May, Nərimanov and Elmlər open Mon-Sat 10:00-19:00 and Sunday 12:00-18:00; Ağ Şəhər opens daily 10:00-22:00. It is better to bring a suit on a hanger. If coming in is inconvenient, our courier collects and returns it — *3338 or +994 55 433 33 38.
